West Valley City is the second-largest city in Utah, and we work in every corner of it. From the older streets of Granger and Hunter to the newer neighborhoods near the USANA area and West Valley's Stonebridge subdivision, we've moved pianos in nearly every era of West Valley housing. Granger and Hunter are some of the oldest residential streets in the valley west of the Jordan River, and the homes show it: small original footprints, tight doorways, and porches that need careful handling.

Most West Valley piano moves we do are uprights and consoles — Yamahas, Kawais, the occasional Steinway upright, and a lot of older mid-century brands like Baldwin and Wurlitzer that have stayed in the family for decades. The classic West Valley challenge is the older home with a narrow front door, an original wood porch, and a basement that wasn't built with pianos in mind. We bring extra padding for the porch, a stair-climber for tighter risers, and a foreman who has done dozens of these. Newer construction near 6200 South and out toward the Salt Lake County line is more straightforward — wider doors, two-car garages, and finished walk-out basements.

From our Riverton shop, central West Valley is about a 20 to 25 minute drive depending on which neighborhood we're heading to and what time of day. Mornings are usually faster; afternoons can stretch closer to 30 minutes if Bangerter is heavy. We don't add a separate trip fee for West Valley — the drive is built into our standard pricing.
