Safe and Sound Pianos was built on years of experience moving pianos for the country's leading dealers. Our founder was trained at Steinway and Baldwin, and the team has collectively handled somewhere between 8,000 and 10,000 pianos.
That's where the discipline comes from: you don't rush a piano, you don't let your nephew help, and you bring the right crew and the right equipment every single time.
We carry $2 million in general liability insurance, and we never skimp on workers. Most jobs we send three trained movers. Bigger or trickier jobs we send four or more. Two guys is doable on simpler moves because our crew is trained that way, but our default is always more hands than fewer. Customers regularly forget to mention the basement, the split-level, or the doorway that won't quite clear, and a full crew gives us the margin to handle whatever shows up.
