Trusted by Sandy families since 2014. Moving, storage, rental, and tuning — handled by Utah's most experienced piano specialists.
Sandy stretches from Old Sandy on the west to the foothills under Bell Canyon trailhead on the east, and we've been moving pianos in every neighborhood between for over a decade. The pianos here run the gamut: 1970s consoles in the older ranchers near State Street, hand-me-down uprights in the family-friendly streets around Alta High, and the occasional Bösendorfer on the bench in Pepperwood.
The classic Sandy piano move is a basement situation. Most homes built between 1975 and 2000 have a finished basement and a half-flight of stairs that turns somewhere awkward — the kind of stair that looked fine when the carpet was put in and impossible the day a 600-lb upright needs to come up. We bring stair-climbers, four-strap rigging, and a crew big enough to take the weight off the dolly when the angles get tight. East-bench homes around Bell Canyon and Granite often add a steep driveway and a stamped-concrete walkway to the mix; we tarp anything that could chip and we wear booties indoors.
From our shop in Riverton, Sandy is one of our easiest runs — about 15 to 20 minutes up Bangerter or 13400 South. We can usually slot a Sandy job in same-week, and we batch east-side Sandy moves with Cottonwood Heights jobs when both come through in the same window so we can spend the day in one part of the valley.
We do the full piano stack here. Moving is what we run every day. Storage is climate-controlled at our Herriman facility, ten minutes away — handy when a Sandy basement remodel runs over. Rentals show up for events at the Sandy Amphitheater, the Mountain America Expo Center, and dozens of homes during Christmas. And our tuning partners cover Sandy weekly. Compare neighbors on our service-area page or head to the homepage.
Tell us the address, the piano, and a couple of photos of the trickiest doorway — we'll quote you the same day and put a date on the calendar.

Storage details →"We had a Kawai upright in a Pepperwood basement that needed to come up two flights of stairs and out a sliding door. McKay's crew built a temporary ramp on site. Best $400 we've ever spent."
"Moved from the Alta High area to a new build in Daybreak. They handled both ends in one trip and the piano was tuned within a week of arriving — exactly what they said would happen."
"Lived in Old Sandy for 30 years. Three pianos, three moves with this team across the years. Never a scratch, never a surprise on the bill."
Same-week scheduling, instant pricing, $50 holds the date.
