The capital city's piano specialists.

Salt Lake City is the oldest piece of the Salt Lake Valley, and our trucks have been weaving through it since 2014. From the steep brick steps of the Avenues to the bungalow porches of Sugar House, from Capitol Hill down to the duplexes around Liberty Park, we've moved pianos in every corner of the city — and most of the awkward stairwells and tight doorways are familiar to us by now.

SLC piano work is mostly old-house piano work. The pre-war homes in the Avenues and on the Capitol Hill bench come with narrow doorframes, hard ninety-degree turns at the top of the stairs, and the occasional original tile foyer that we are not going to gouge. The bungalows around 9th & 9th and the brick four-squares east of Liberty Park usually have a basement piano on the agenda — sometimes a console nobody wants anymore, sometimes a Steinway upright the family wants brought up to the main floor for the grandkids. Our standard three-mover crew is sized for exactly these situations.

Newer construction along North Temple, in the warehouse-district condo conversions, and out toward the U brings a different set of problems — service elevators with strict reservation windows, narrow loading docks behind Sugar House midrises, and HOA paperwork. We handle all of it. Tell us the building, and we'll ask the questions you didn't know to ask.

From our home base in Riverton, downtown SLC is about a 30-minute run up I-15. That's our longest in-county drive, and we pad the schedule for it — especially during ski-resort traffic on winter Fridays or game days at Rice-Eccles. We don't charge a separate trip fee for Salt Lake City; it's already baked into our standard pricing.

Whatever you need — moving a heirloom upright across town, storage while you remodel a kitchen in Federal Heights, a grand rental for a wedding at the Grand America, or a tuning referral after a season of dry winter air — we've got you. Browse our full service area or head back to the home page for an overview.

Same-week scheduling is the norm. Text us a few photos and the addresses, and you'll have a number back the same day.

"They moved my grandmother's upright from a third-floor walk-up in the Avenues. Tight stairwell, awkward landing, no scratches anywhere. Brennan kept me updated the whole drive in."

"Got a Yamaha grand from Sugar House over to a recital hall downtown. Showed up in matching shirts, dolly was already on the truck, in and out in under an hour."

"We bought a used baby grand off KSL near 9th & 9th. Safe & Sound picked it up, stored it for six weeks while we finished the floors, and put it in our living room without a mark."
