Murray has more housing variety in a small footprint than just about any other Salt Lake County city. Drive a mile in any direction and you'll go from 1910s craftsman bungalows on Vine Street, to mid-century brick ranchers near 5300 South, to brand-new condo conversions around Fashion Place area — with the green corridor of Murray Park running through the middle of it. We've moved pianos in every one of those eras.

The signature Murray move for us is the old-house piano. The pre-war bungalows along Vine Street and around Murray Park usually have an original front door, a steep front porch step, and a parlor where the piano has lived for decades. Getting an upright in or out of one of these means careful planning — sometimes the route is through the back patio, sometimes it's a window if the piano is large enough to justify it. Our crew has done this enough times to know what's possible. The mid-century stock is more standard: half-flight stairs, finished basements, slab-on-grade ranchers with at-grade entries that make for easy moves. The newer Fashion Place-area condos add freight elevators and HOA scheduling to the mix.

From our Riverton home base, central Murray is a 20-minute drive on a normal day — we hit it via Bangerter to 5400 South. We routinely batch Murray jobs with Cottonwood Heights or Holladay jobs since they're close geographically, which keeps our trucks rolling efficiently and our pricing fair.
